24 reasons why I love Jesus

In honor of Christmas aka Jesus' birthday, for my Vlogmas this year I did 24 reasons why I love Jesus, giving you one reason everyday, that included a verse or a few. Here are all of the reasons and the verses that I wrote down and talked about in my Vlogmas this year of 2016. I will also include a full playlist of all of my vlogs this year, if by any chance you missed them. God bless all of you lovely people! Here are the

24 reasons why I love Jesus

1. He loved me first
“We love because he first loved us.” 1. John 4:19

2. Even though he could have done anything he wanted, he decided to choose to die on the
cross for me and you.
"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." Luke
22:42

3. He cares for me
“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once
and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”
1. Peter 5:7 AMPC

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will
help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

4. He hears my every single prayer and answers if I believe
"Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear."
Isaiah 65:24

"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22

" But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts
is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not
expect to receive anything from the Lord." James 1:6-7

5. When he left the earth, he gave us the Holy Spirit, παράκλητος, who will help us
through anything
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all
things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.“ John 14:26

6. Through him I can talk to my heavenly father
“Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” John 16:23b

7. I can do anything with his help
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13”

8. If I read his word and know it, I can pray for anything because I know his will and I
will receive it
“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be
done unto you” John 15:7

9. I will spend eternity with him
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

       10. He's my family
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to
become children of God” John 1:12

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” Romans 8:14

“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.” Romans 8:16

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,” Galatians 3:26)

11. Even though we sin over and over, and over again, he still forgives us
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

12. He is the perfect example to follow. Instead of idolizing people, who will never be
perfect, follow Gods lead
“He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without
iniquity, just and right is He.” Deuteronomy 32:4

13. He is an actual part of me
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now
live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

14. Because he died for me on the cross, I was already healed, I just need to accept that
healing in my life
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to
righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1. Peter 2:24

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them
and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord." James 5:14

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the
punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

15. I can live my life without worry
“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and
situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests
known to God.” Philippians 4:6 (this is the Amplified version, look for the NIV version if you
don’t want us much detail in this verse)

16. I can trust him fully with my future, because he has prepared amazing things for me
“However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human
mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him”I Corinthians 2:9

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

“For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.” Psalms
48:14

17. He gives me anything I need
“But their trust should be in the living God, who richly gives us all we need for our
enjoyment.” 1 Tim. 6:17b

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as
well.” Matthew 6:33 (these things are meant by food and clothes)

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need
and plenty left over to share with others.”  2 Corinthians 9:8

18. He literally made me in my mothers womb, he created me just how I should be
“This is what the LORD says—He who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you.” Isaiah 44:2

19. He is the only thing that can comfort me and bring me joy and peace again
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalms 94:19
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33b

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be
with all of you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16

20. God can do the impossible in my life
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37
“But He said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 18:27

21. God wants EVERYONE to be saved (sadly not everyone will be saved, because some people
choose evil over good)
“who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4

“Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign LORD. Of course not! I
want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.” Ezekiel 18:23

22. Praying in a different language with the help of the Holy Spirit, that only He understands
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray
for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit
gave them utterance.” Acts 2:4

“For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him,
but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 14:2

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons;
they will speak in new tongues;” Mark 16:17

23. He created everything in this world, and it’s so beautiful!
“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and
invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by Him, and for Him” Colossians 1:16

24. Because he gives me gifts no one else could ever give me
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how
much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"” Luke
11:13
